The Brief

James had been operating his painting business for a little over a year when he started working with us. Most of his jobs came from advertising on Craigslist or through referrals. James had built a basic website himself for the business, but knew that for it to effectively drive more business it had to be much more professional. Therefore, James turned to McCann Web Design to help redesign his website and get him more leads online.

Our Approach

After looking through the options, we decided to build JM Painting a completely new website that would show potential customers exactly what they needed to know before they felt comfortable hiring James to work on their homes.

When we started with the website build, we first did extensive market research on the top ranking painting companies in the local area. Then we combined professional copywriting with pictures of their work and social proof to establish trust with potential clients. The final solution was a 4 page website that showed the company's services, extensive portfolio, and commitment to customer satisfaction.

The Results

Immediately James started getting compliments on his website from both new and returning customers. After a few weeks he already started seeing more leads, even though we did not provide any SEO services, which means the website converted visitors much better after the redesign.

James still receives an extra 2-3 customers per month from the new website alone.
